Food Allergy

If you note any food allergy reaction whenever you or your love ones ate certain food ... from rashes, cough to asthma and anaphylactic reaction ... confirm it with an allergy test ... besides taking food allergen off the recipe and menu ... you need to ensure that there are no cross contamination from the worktop to equipments used ... read labels of packaged products ... unsured don't use ... it can be life threatening for someone with severe allergy and anaphylactic reaction.

Red Peach Kueh

Ingredients:
  • glutinous rice 500 gm
  • water 250ml
  • salt to taste
  • vegetarian mushroom oyster sauce to taste

  • chinese mushroom 10 pcs
  • can / steam peanut 500 gm
  • vegetarian mock duck 300 gm
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • sugar to taste
  • vegetarian mushroom oyster sauce to taste
  • vegetarian mushroom powder seasoning
  • water
  • oil
 
  • rice flour 500 gm
  • tapioca flour 40 gm
  • water 1200 ml
  • red color
  • oil

Procedure:
  1. wash and soak rice for 6-8 hours
  2. steam for 20 - 30 mins
  3. add water, salt and mushroom oyster sauce to taste, mix well
  4. steam another 30 mins
  1. diced mushroom, peanuts, mock duck
  2. heat wok with oil
  3. fry diced mushroom, peanuts and mock duck
  4. add salt, pepper, mushroom oyster sauce, mushroom powder
  5. add some water, fry till well mix
  6. add to cooked rice and mixed well, set aside to cool
  1.  into a pot, add rice flour, tapioca flour, water and red color
  2. mix well, cook into a dough over fire, stirring continously
  3. dust some tapioca flour on to worktop
  4. adda little oil to dough, knead until smooth, divide into small dough
  5. flatter dough and wrap with rice filling
  6. put into mould, press to shape, 
  7. steam ro 5 mins, remove cover to dry, steam another 5 mins
  8. repeat. total steam for 15 mins
  9. oil steam kueh, serve
  10. maybe pan fry before serving
