Ingredients:
- glutinous rice 500 gm
- water 250ml
- salt to taste
- dried chinese mushroom 50 gm
- raw peanut 150 gm
- dried water chestnut 100 gm
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- sugar to taste
- vegetarian mushroom oyster sauce to taste
- vegetarian mushroom powder seasoning
- water
- oil
Procedure:
- wash and soak rice for 6-8 hours
- steam for 20 - 30 mins
- add water, salt to taste, mix well
- steam another 30 mins
- wash and soak mushroom, raw peanut, water chestnut till soft
- diced mushroom, peanuts, water chestnut
- heat wok with oil
- fry diced mushroom, peanuts and water chestnut
- add salt, pepper, sugar, mushroom oyster sauce, mushroom powder
- fry till well mix
- add some water to cover, simmer till cook and soft, almost dry
- adjust seasoning to taste
- add to cooked rice and mixed well, serve
- i cooked this vegetarian glutinous rice without the lotus leaf
