Food Allergy

If you note any food allergy reaction whenever you or your love ones ate certain food ... from rashes, cough to asthma and anaphylactic reaction ... confirm it with an allergy test ... besides taking food allergen off the recipe and menu ... you need to ensure that there are no cross contamination from the worktop to equipments used ... read labels of packaged products ... unsured don't use ... it can be life threatening for someone with severe allergy and anaphylactic reaction.

Curry Puff

Ingredients:
  • plain flour 1kg
  • margarine 250gm
  • water

  • potato 1kg
  • mix vegetable 1pkt
  • curry powder 4tbsp
  • chilli paste 2tbsp
  • dry vegetarian minced pork  100gm
  • oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sugar
  • msg (optional)

 Procedure:
  1. in a mixing bowl 600gm of plain flour ... add water ... knead into a dough ... divide into 4 portions ... set aside for 10 mins
  2. in another mixing bowl 400gm of plain flour ... add margarine ... knead into a dough ... divide into 4 portions
  3. roll and flatten the water dough ... wrap over margarine dough ... repeat process for all four portions ... set aside for 10 mins

  1. peel, wash, diced potato ... boil or steam till cook
  2. mix curry powder, chilli paste with a little water
  3. heat wok with oil ... fry dry vegetarian mince pork ... set aside
  4. heat wok with oil ... fry curry chilli paste ... till fragrant
  5. add mix vegetables, cooked potatoes cubes, some water 
  6. add salt, pepper, sugar, msg ... stir and fry till almost dry 
  7. add the fried vegetarian pork
  8. add some tapioca flour ... stir and mix well ... set aside to cool

  1. *with a rolling pin flatten one dough  ...  with your hands starting from one end ... roll the flatten dough into a log ** ... repeat from * to ** ... set aside .. repeat this step for all 4 dough
  2. cut up log into equal portion size ... with a rolling pin flatten each portion ... keeping the spiral design in the center ... repeat process for all cut out portion
  3. wrap each flatten portion with the curry filling ... fold in half ... press edges together ,,, fold and press along the edges to form a wave like pattern ... repeat this step for all portion
  4. heat up wok with oil ... deep fry curry puff till golden brown ... serve
