Food Allergy

If you note any food allergy reaction whenever you or your love ones ate certain food ... from rashes, cough to asthma and anaphylactic reaction ... confirm it with an allergy test ... besides taking food allergen off the recipe and menu ... you need to ensure that there are no cross contamination from the worktop to equipments used ... read labels of packaged products ... unsured don't use ... it can be life threatening for someone with severe allergy and anaphylactic reaction.

Pumpkin Balls

Ingredients:
  • pumpkin, cooked and mashed  1 kg
  • glutinous rice flour 500 gm
  • salt 
  • water
  • cooking oil 2 tbsp
  • mushrooms diced 100 gm
  • carrots diced 100 gm
  • celery diced 100 gm
  • watre chestnuts diced 300 gm
  • vegetarian pork rib diced 500 gm
  • vegetarian chicken nugget diced 300 gm
  • water
  • tapioca flour
  • soy bean paste
  • sugar
  • sesame oil pepper

Procedure:
  1. mix pumpkin, glutinous rice flour, salt, water in a mixing bowl 
  2. knead into a dough, set aside covered

  1.  heat wok with some oil, fry mushroom till fragrant
  2. add carrots, celery, vegetarian meat, water chestnut
  3. season with soy bean paste, sugar, pepper,  sesame oil
  4. add some water, stir fry till almost dry
  5. sprinkle some tapioca flour and stir immediately
  6. set aside to cool before use

  1.  divide pumpkin dough into equal portion
  2. wrap a spoonful of stir fry vegetables with the pumpkin dough
  3. shape into a round ball
  4. used the back of knife or spoon to mark the ball with eight section
  5. decorate with a parsley stem
  6. steam for about 10 mins, brush with oil over surface, serve
